【時報訊】聖路易郡經濟委員會日前向郡政府提出一項優惠方案，希望能讓醫藥處方處理裝配公司Express Scripts留在聖路易郡，連帶留在聖路易郡1,450個工作機會，其中包括1300個現有職位及150個新增工作機會。
Express Scripts公司計劃在聖路易郡該公司總部對面，橫跨70號高速公路之North Park北園區興建一座二十二萬五千呎之廠房，耗資六千三百萬元，所提供之工作機會年薪約四萬元，新工作機會之平均年薪為六萬元。
聖路易郡提供之優惠方案包括10年房地產稅和個人稅減半，視優惠方案之內容，Express Scripts將決定是否在北園區興建新廠。
據暸解，密州經濟發展廳和密州財政發展委員會都會對該公司提出不同之優惠方案，期望Express Scripts公司留在聖路易郡擴廠。

St. Louis County, MO - The St. Louis County Economic Council submitted a request to St. Louis County for an incentives package aimed at keeping 1,300 jobs and adding at least 150 new jobs in the next phase of expansion for Express Script.
The project would be located at NorthPark in North St. Louis County across Interstate 70 from the company's headquarters. The new 225,000-square-foot building would cost $63 million in real and personal property investment. Retained jobs earn approximately $40,500 annually, and the new jobs would generate an average salary of approximately $60,000 a year.
The incentives would provide 50 percent reduction in real and personal property taxes for ten years.
No final decision has been made by the company as to where the project will be located, but it will be contingent on the County incentive package and a package of incentives yet to be submitted by the State Department of Economic Development and Missouri Development Finance Board. |
