Governor Nixon, Mayor Slay, and area economic development partners joined Unisys officials for opening of the company's new downtown St. Louis offices at 555 Washington Ave.

【時報訊】美國財富500資訊科技公司Unisys，11月18日(週四)為在聖路易城區設立之電腦資訊中心舉行開幕剪綵儀式，由密州州長Jay Nixon，聖路易市市長Francis Slay，聖路易地區商業成長協會(RCGA)會長Dick Fleming及Unisys公司聯邦系統總裁Ted Davies共同主持，該中心設於城區華盛頓街555號。在未來1年半(18個月)之內，Unisys將在新中心內雇用300位工作人員，年薪五萬五到六萬間。目前，該中心已有65位員工，佔大樓內第五層樓之一部份。目前，第五層除了Unisys公司外，並沒有其他公司使用，Unisys公司電腦資訊中心如果發展良好，可以將整層樓全部租下。 Unisys Cuts Ribbon On IT Center Downtown Gov. Jay Nixon and Mayor Francis Slay took part Thursday in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at a Unisys Corp., a Fortune 500 information technology company, information technology center that could eventually employ 300 people and spread across the entire top floor at 555 Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis over the next 18 months. Employees at the new center will make an average salary of $55,000 to $60,000. The center already has about 65 employees who occupy a portion of the building's fifth floor. The remainder of the floor is vacant but Unisys has an option to lease the entire space, officials said.
