Pfizer Inc., which has operations in St. Louis, said Tuesday it completed its $3.6 billion acquisition of King Pharmaceuticals Inc. on Monday.
King of Bristol, Tenn., is now a wholly owned subsidiary of New York-based Pfizer (NYSE: PFE), led by President and CEO Ian Read.
Under the terms of the transaction, each outstanding share of King common stock has been converted into the right to receive $14.25.
Effective as of the close of trading Monday, King common stock ceased trading on the New York Stock Exchange. |
