(NASDAQ:PRFT), a leading information technology consulting firm serving Global 2000 and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, today announced it has opened a new and expanded facility in Hangzhou, China to accommodate growth at its CMMI level-5 certified Global Development Center.
"Since acquiring the GDC in late 2007, we've substantially expanded the breadth of services offered there and doubled headcount to more than 200 colleagues," said Jeffrey Davis, Perficient's chief executive and president. "As Perficient scales in the years ahead, we expect growth at the GDC to accelerate at an even faster pace and Hangzhou's established infrastructure and proximity to university-trained IT professionals make it an ideal location. At 43,000 sq. feet, this new facility is twice the size of our previous location and will accommodate more than 400 colleagues at maximum capacity."
