500 Attend Gateway Grizzlies All-Star Day and JDRF Walk Kick-off

A hot time in Sauget, IL in mid-July meant pre-game ballpark picnic dinner served in the breezy Party Pavilion followed by a hit-heavy win by the Gateway Grizzlies.
The youngest fans enjoyed on-the-field antics by team mascot Izzy the Grizzlie and fun-filled games and contests.
After the game, 25 lucky lottery ticket winners were escorted down to the field for the exciting ceremony. Standing along the first base line, players took off their jerseys (special one-of-a-kind shirts created just for the JDRF evening) signed and gave them to the lucky fans.
