ST. LOUIS (KMOV) - St. Louis City has plans to spend $20 million on the northern region of the riverfront to improve the municipal river terminal.
Using a combination of city funds and a grant from the US Commerce Department, the city of St. Louis hired a firm to study what needs to be done to revitalize a 3,000 acre area.
The area goes up from Cass to Maline Creek, wedged between the Mississippi River, Interstate 70 and North Broadway.
The city wants to do three things: keep businesses that are there, help large businesses expand and attract supply and supporting businesses. |
