Governor Jay Nixon and a Missouri Trade Delegation took off for China last Friday.
Meanwhile, the Chinese cancelled the third cargo flight from Shanghai to St. Louis that was due to land this Monday.
Now the governor has to convince the Chinese to continue the Cargo Hub operation at Lambert, despite the refusal of the Missouri Legislature to pass tax credits for the hub. So what will he tell the Chinese?
"I'll say we're a billion dollar export partner with you right now and we're moving forward," says Governor Jay Nixon.
