West County Satellite Office to close
|

December 16, 2011 will be the last day for Saint Louis County residents to utilize Revenue services, including payment of their real and/or personal property taxes at the West County satellite office, located at 74 Clarkson Wilson Centre in Chesterfield. This office will be closed permanently after December 16, 2011.
Saint Louis County regrets any inconvenience this may cause, and will continue to offer services such as tax payment, obtaining tax waivers or duplicate receipts, at the remaining two Saint Louis County Government Satellite Offices, located at:
North County: 21 Village Square Shopping Center, Hazelwood, MO 63042South County: 4546 Lemay Ferry Road (Keller Plaza), Saint Louis, MO 63129
Both satellite locations accept checks and money orders, but cash payments are accepted only at the North County Satellite Office and in Clayton. Revenue business hours at the satellite offices are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Tax payments may be mailed to, or paid in person at the Collector of Revenue's Office on the Street Level of the Lawrence K. Roos County Government Building, 41 South Central Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105. Office hours are from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.
Property owners need to be aware that the last day to pay the 2011 tax bills in person is Friday, December 30, 2011, since County offices will be closed on Saturday, December 31, 2011.
Real and personal property taxes can also be paid online at: https://revenue.stlouisco.com/Collection/PayTaxes. Property owners have the option of paying by direct debit of a checking or savings account, or by credit card. If a credit card is used, a convenience fee may apply.
By law, the 2011 taxes must be paid, or postmarked by the United States Postal Service, on or before December 31, 2011, to avoid interest and penalties. |
