LOOP MEDIA HUB FEASIBILITY STUDY INFORMATIONAL MEETING TO BE HELD ON JUNE 14

UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. - An informational meeting about the "Loop Media Hub" feasibility study will be conducted from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 14 at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) Black Box Theatre, 524 Trinity Avenue, University City, Mo.
A multi-jurisdictional group of stakeholders including the cities of University City and St. Louis, St. Louis County, the University City Chamber of Commerce, Washington University St. Louis, COCA, and the Regional Arts Commission have commissioned a study to create an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plan along the right of way of the proposed Loop Trolley. Among other items, the ICT plan will explore the feasibility of installing fiber optic technology underneath the Loop Trolley tracks to provide ultra-gigabit and wireless connectivity to the community along The Loop Trolley right of way.
The consultant for the ICT, David Sandel of Sandel & Associates, and other study participants and stakeholders will be present at the meeting to provide a brief project overview and answer questions.
