JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes A Season of Successful "Pleas" and Thank You's

More than 25,000 people - family and corporate Walk teams - came together on the Upper Muny Parking Lot in Forest Park on Sunday, October 7th for a common cause - to cure diabetes. The JDRF Greater Missouri and Southern Illinois Chapter Walk to Cure Diabetes just keeps going and growing. Together we raised $1.1 million for the research to develop new and better treatments to improve the lives of people with diabetes on our path to a cure.
T1D (type 1 diabetes) can strike at any age. Half of all new cases are diagnosed in adults. You can't prevent it. You can't outgrow it. That's why we walk - to raise money for research. A cure for diabetes is just steps away.
