The Taiwanese Association of America in St. Louis presents a FREE violin concert featuring young violinist, 18-year-old Jecoliah Wang, former concertmaster and soloist of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, and soloist with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Enthusiastically supported by renowned violinists, she received a full scholarship at age 16 to attend the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings, a conservatory associated with Mercer University in Macon, GA. She performed by invitation at the 2012 Rome Chamber Music Festival, and will again this June, before attending the Aspen Music Festival this summer for the third year, each time receiving full scholarships. |
