FOCUS on the Board - Meet the chairman

Neighbors, we'd all like to have more businesses along Olive Boulevard and a neighborhood that is conducive to attracting more businesses. 
Now, enter the formation of the Olive Business Association, "OBA" for short and ¡§What's Happening On Olive¡¨ the official newsletter that tells you what OBA is doing.  

OBA has elected excellent officers. As chairman, I will assure you that each officer will do his or her part for us.  Which brings me to the ¡§us¡¨ part.  Your input as a business or property owner between I170 and Skinker is of the utmost importance.  We will ALL benefit from any success that OBA accomplishes.  However, the success of OBA can only be in direct proportion to YOUR commitment to our overall efforts.  So, if we want to make Olive Boulevard more productive for you and your business, don¡¦t miss our next meeting on Tuesday December 11 at Heman Center in Heman Park at 6:00 PM.  I can promise that meetings will not last more than 90 minutes.

NOW IS THE TIME for your ideas, comments and concerns to be heard.  Everyone is invited to join in and share the work of creating the business corridor that we know is possible.  First you must come to the meetings.  If you don¡¦t attend the meetings, those who do attend will make decisions--that will affect us all--for you.

I certainly look forward to meeting you.  Our goal is to have at least one representative from each business.  Will you make us successful?
