Chinese American Forum (CAF) celebrated its 20th anniversary

Chinese American Forum (CAF) celebrated its 20th anniversary on August 3, 2002.  A  dinner reception was held at the Millennium Student Center, University of Missouri-St. Louis that evening with some one hundred community leaders, friends and guests.

CAF is a non-profit organization founded in 1982 by a group of accomplished Chinese American scientists and educators.  Its objective is to provide open dialogue and forum to cultivate and promote mutual understanding between Chinese Americans and the general public.  CAF also publishes a quarterly magazine on matters related to culture, history, education, heritage and community affairs.  The first issue was published in 1984 and throughout all these 20 years without interruption.  Readership of the magazine includes the White House, the U.S. Congress, state governors, and the general public.

CAF continues to reach out to the general public and mainstream America as a recognized and creditable voice for Chinese Americans.
