March 24: Buddhist Lecture & Taking Refuge Ceremony

Since the relocation of Fo Guang Shan St. Louis
Buddhist Center from Belleville to St. Louis, thank
you for your support and participation in the numerous
activities.  But due to the limited parking spaces at
the Buddhist Center, we will organize our future
activities to be held at other locations.  From now
on, the weekly Sunday Service will be suspended
temporarily, and the weekly Buddhist Class will be
held at different member's residence or at the
community center...we will notify you the confirmed
location soon.  And there is a major event on March
24, held at Maryland Heights Centre:

TAKING REFUGE CEREMONY
* FOR WHOM: Anyone who wants to become a Buddhist
* WHAT IS "Taking Refuge": Taking refuge in Buddha,
Dharma (Teaching of Buddha) and Sangha (Monastic). 
After taking refuge, it means that you are officially
a Buddhist. 
* REGISTRATION is required (see form below).

Even though our major activities will not be held at
the Center, I welcome you to come to the Buddhist
Center for visits or to borrow books from the library
anytime during opening hours or by appointment.  Our
library is now officially opened, with books,
cassettes and videotapes for all ages.   Our opening
hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.  Hope

From Hwy 270: 
  (1) Exit Dorsett 
  (2) West on Dorsett 
  (3) Turn Right onto McKelvey (follow the signs) 
  (4) McKelvey shifts, so turn Right again onto
McKelvey, and follow the road and turn Left to the
Centre.
