Lindbergh exhibition takes flight in St. Louis

The Missouri Historical Society celebrates the seventy-fifth anniversary of Charles A. Lindbergh's historic 1927 transatlantic flight with an exciting exhibition of its renowned Lindbergh collection. The collection consists of hundreds of items presented to Lindbergh over many years, even after his death. This fabulous collection will be featured in the exhibition along with many of Lindbergh's personal artifacts, period film footage, audio clips and engaging activities that include a mock cockpit of the Spirit of St. Louis. The cockpit offers visitors a sense of what it must have felt like to fly alone as Lindbergh did, leaping the ocean in a tiny plane, and to contemplate the moment of being surrounded by a passionate crowd after having landed in history.
