ST. LOUIS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL'S MAKE TRACKS FOR THE ZOO SET FOR JUNE 2

St. Louis Children's Hospital's Make Tracks for the Zoo is set to run on Sunday, June 2, at 8 a.m.  The event begins and ends at the Kiener Memorial Entrance to the Zoo at the corner of Washington and Government Drive in Forest Park.

St. Louis Children's Hospital is the title sponsor of the St. Louis Zoo's annual 
5K run/walk, 1-mile fun run/walk through Forest Park.  Proceeds help support the future enhancement of the Zoo's animal collections and conservation programs.

Register early and save!  The first 2,000 entrants to register will be eligible for attendance prizes.   Pre-registration fee is $11 for individuals or $30 for a family of four, due by May 24.  Late registration fee is $15 for individuals after May 24 through June 2.  Family registration is not available after May 24.  Last-minute participants may register from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. on June 2 at The Living World.  For registration, call 314/768-5440 or pick up a form at the Zoo Friends Desk in The Living World or at any Mungenast Automotive Family Dealership.

All participants will receive a "Make Tracks for the Zoo" T-shirt.  Awards will be 
presented to male and female finishers in various categories.  Award ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at Lakeside Cafe.  Limited seating is available for a continental breakfast from 8:45-10:30 a.m. at Lakeside Café.  Advance reservations are required for breakfast.  Cost is $3.50 per person.  Breakfast reservations will be accepted through May 24.  Free parking will be provided before 9 a.m. on the Zoo's south lot adjacent to Highway 40.
