Custom Home Bus Tour & Construction Workshop Being Held November 16 
Four Spectacular Custom Homes to Be Featured

	The Custom Home Builders Council, a division of the Home Builders Association of Greater St. Louis, is hosting a FREE Custom Home Bus Tour and "mobile" Home Building Workshop on Saturday, November 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  The tour will begin and end at the HBA headquarters (10104 Old Olive Street Road, 63141 - slightly northeast of the Olive & Lindbergh interchange).  Attendees should arrive at the HBA no later than 8:15 a.m. to ensure ample time to board the bus.  Food and beverages will be provided at each tour stop.  Photography will be allowed.

	The four custom homes being featured on the tour are in the communities of Town and Country, Creve Coeur and Weldon Spring. They range in price from $600,000 to $1.2 million and are furnished and/or decorated.  During the bus ride, attendees will be treated to a seminar on how to build a custom home.  Both the tour and the seminar have been designed to eliminate the pressures consumers experience when they build a custom home. Speakers will discuss soil issues, home designs, energy and indoor air quality upgrades, how to choose a builder, financing, product selections and decorating.  "Our seminars provide consumers with the information they need in today's changing marketplace," says Mark Rasch, chairman of the Custom Home Builders Council.  "If we help consumers manage their expectations throughout the process, everybody wins!"
