2002 OCA-STL YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARD

The Organization of Chinese Americans, Inc., St. Louis Chapter (OCA-STL), establishes the Youth Leadership Award to recognize and reward deserving juniors or seniors in high school, who have demonstrated leadership within their school activities and in community service.

Award
A selection committee will select two award recipients. A $500 cash award will presented to each recipient at the OCA-STL annual banquet.

Eligibility
· Must be a Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen
· Must be a current junior or senior in high school
· Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Procedure
1. Fill out the Application Form
2. A copy of your official high school transcript
3. Two Recommendation Letters from High School
4. One page single-spaced 300-500 word essay.
Essay topic: What value can diversity bring, create, or contribute to society?
5. Personal Interview may be required.
