ZOO OFFERS SPOOKTACULAR FAMILY FUN AT EDWARD JONES PUMPKIN PROWL

What is a skeleton's favorite instrument? A trombone!
How do witches tell time? With a witch watch!

Edward Jones Pumpkin Prowl at the St. Louis Zoo offers non-scary, kid-friendly Halloween fun from 5 to 8 p.m. October 18-20 and 25-30 (closed Halloween night).  New this year is a giant illuminated pumpkin atop the South entrance welcoming visitors as they arrive.  

Follow the pumpkin pathway to the Children's Zoo where kids can get up close to owls, toads, bats, snakes and other creatures of the night.  Wander through several scenes filled with laughs and adventure including the goofy graveyard and boot hill cemetery, Franky's fun maze, hay maze, "singing" ship-wrecked pirates, haunted art gallery, joke-telling tree of lights, giant spider web and more.

Enjoy Halloween stage shows and sing-a-longs, costumed characters, free face painting, "creepy" craft, trick-or-treat goody bags and plenty of photo opportunities.  Children are encouraged to wear costumes.  

See what's brewing at the refreshment area. Try "mummy dogs," "spider cider," "ghostly gloves" and more.  Be sure to shop the Halloween boo-tique for souvenirs.  

Admission is $4.00 per person, $3.00 for Zoo Friends (no passes). Children under two are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No reservations are needed.
