RETURNS TO U. CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY, 6701 Delmar Boulevard (auditorium, 2nd floor), U. City, MO 63130 FOR NATIONAL MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY (Saturday, October 26, 2002) EVENT!  It offered National Depression Screenings and Flu Shots in addition to regular screenings!
 
Now every 4th Saturday of the month, 9:00am - 11:00am:

***Mammography screenings by appointment offered ONLY on November 23 for women ages 35+

January 25, February 22, March 22, April 26, June 28 (NO HPES in May 2003.)
 
Come and have a conversation-consultation with a doctor about ANY health problem.
This is a chance to talk and get unhurried personal advice.  
You can choose to have or NOT to have any or all of the screening tests.
QUICK, PAINLESS and FREE - all you need to do is SHOW UP!  NO APPOINTMENT!

Health historians assist clients to develop personal, life-long heal history books as part of the School for Patients.   
 
Test results are given to you to show to your doctor.
If you have no doctor, you can ask about free or low-cost medical groups!
 
Education is a powerful part of health protection.  We have information booths on MC+ Medicare, Medicaid, Health Education, Diet, Red Cross, Life Line, CPR, and many other areas!
 
A Health Educator/Advocate will follow up with your test results and get your input about how we can better serve the community health needs.
 
The University City East Health Protection Services is a volunteer group of physicians, health professionals/educators, nurses, medical students, and community volunteers who provide health screening and follow-up treatment, if necessary, to people who have no affordable or accessible health care protection.
