University City City Hall 100th Anniversary

The Historical Society of University City is presenting a program on the lawn of City Hall at 5:30 PM on Friday, Augst 29, 2003 to commerorate the 100th anniversary of the laying of the cornerstone of the Womens Magazine Building which is now City Hall. Refreshments will be served in the rotunda after the ceremony. 

Governor David R. Francis laid the building cornerstone on August 29, 1903. His dedication speech will be read by his great grand daughter, Diana Francis. 

Everyone is invited to celebrate this milestone in the history of University City.
