WU's Chinese Student Association presents the Chinese New Year Festival in its 8th consecutive year As the largest student run festival in the St. Louis area, Chinese New Year Festival 2003 will showcase a variety of Chinese cuisine, dances, music, costumes, and crafts. Beginning with a week-long exhibition of Chinese arts and crafts and culminating to the Traditional Chinese New Year Banquet and Variety Show, the celebration invites individuals of all backgrounds to join us in expanding their knowledge and understanding of the Chinese culture. The program planned for this year will feature a skit based on the story of the Chinese Zodiac, traditional and modern dances, Chinese music, and various forms of martial arts. Additionally, a fireworks display is scheduled for the finale of the festival.
