Enjoy the summer sky with a telescope viewing at the St. Louis Science Center There's something about a clear summer's sky that's like no other. Gaze at the stars in the night sky at the free public telescope viewing at the St. Louis Science Center on Fri., August 8, 2003. The viewing begins at dusk, at the archery range west of the Science Center in Forest Park and ends at 9 pm. The St. Louis Astronomical Society and the Science Center provide telescopes used in the viewing. Society members and Science Center staff will be on hand to answer questions, discuss astronomy and assist in locating night sky objects. If adverse weather conditions occur, the telescope viewing will be canceled.
