Sandra Ehrlich named Director of Development at Craft Alliance

Craft Alliance is pleased to announce that Sandra Ehrlich, currently
Director of Development at the Arts & Education Council of Greater St.
Louis (A&E), has accepted the Director of Development position at Craft
Alliance. Sandra will start March 3, 2003

Sandra comes to Craft Alliance with over 20 years experience in
fundraising and marketing. She is a graduate of the University of
Missouri, School of Journalism, and has a Masters from Northwestern's
Medill School of Journalism in Integrated Marketing Communications and
Advertising. She has a demonstrated track record of success in strategic
planning, budgeting and marketing initiatives, as well as all aspects of
managing and leading a development effort-corporate & foundation gifts,
major donor and annual fund programs, and special events. She has been
responsible for raising approximately $2 million for A&E over the last
year.

Sandra is a member of the American Association of Fundraising
Professionals (AFP), The American Marketing Association (AMA), the
American Advertising Federation (AAF), and the Public Relations Society
of America (PRSA). She has a well established network of friends,
colleagues and supporters of the arts, which will be invaluable to Craft
Alliance

President Schuyler Gott Andrews is "confident that Sandra's personality,
background and experience will mix well with the Craft Alliance team.
Her leadership will take us into the future with the funding to support
our planned growth."

Established in 1964, Craft Alliance provides inspiration and education
in fine contemporary craft to the entire community through exhibitions,
sales and instruction.

The brainchild of six local craftspeople, Craft Alliance began as a
cooperative gallery in the Central West End. In 1969, the organization
moved to its present location in The Loop, which provided more
exhibition space as well as a studio for the instruction of classes in
the craft media.

Over the years, Craft Alliance has continually grown to meet the demands
of the community through the expansion and betterment of the Gallery,
Education center and community Outreach programs.

Craft Alliance earns over 70% of its operating income from tuition,
sales, and membership. Craft Alliance is a funded member of the Arts and
Education Council of Greater St. Louis and receives support from the
Regional Arts Commission, the Missouri Arts Council, the American Craft
Council, individuals, corporations and foundations.
