SLU Lynda R. Campbell Memorial Lecture Series on Topics in Diversity

Dr. LiRong Lilly Cheng will present a day long seminar on Leadership and Diversity: A Quest for Learning, Collaborating, and Excellence on Friday, November 7 from 8 -4pm in Busch Center on the Saint Louis University Campus. Dr. Cheng is a nationally known researcher in cross-cultural communication and speech-language disorders in multicultural/bilingual populations. She is a native speaker of Mandarin and several Chinese dialects and is the author of many books in English and Chinese about women, cultures, youth, cross-cultural communication and communicative disorders. The conference is open to all interested and should have a broader appeal than just speech-language pathologists. There is no charge for the workshop. This diversity series is held in honor of our faculty colleague and former department chair who was deeply committed to diversity and educational opportunities.
