Rockwood Community Invited to Attend Long-Range Planning Meeting

ST. LOUIS, SEPTEMBER 2, 2003- Residents and business owners in the
Rockwood School District are invited to learn more about "Point
Rockwood," the district's new long-range planning initiative, at a
public meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 25 from 7-9 p.m. at the
district's Administrative Center Annex, located at 500 North Central in
Eureka.

"Point Rockwood" is an important grassroots effort designed to help
shape the future of the Rockwood School District. The September 25
meeting will be the first in a series of ten public meetings that will
be held throughout the year. A complete list of future "Point Rockwood"
meetings is available on the district's website at
www.rockwood.k12.mo.us. 

The district has also produced a six-minute video explaining the "Point
Rockwood" process and the need for public involvement and input. To
