China, Kunming Delegation

The China Kunming Economic and Trade delegation visited St. Louis on March 10 and 11.   Organized by Ms. Pauline Sher of Sher Total Travel Service, Inc, they visited Anheuser-Busch and Chrysler car manufacturer plant.  According to Mr. Jun Feng Huang, leader and Vice Director of Kunming Municipal Foreign Economic Relations & Trade Commission, "We like St. Louis' industry and business environment, although it is the first time we visited here".

St. Louis Chinese Painting Club

The St. Louis Chinese Painting Club gets together every Saturday morning from 10 to 12 at the St. Louis Chinese Culture Center to practice painting.  Ms. Wang, Fu-Hsiang(L4), a graduate student at Fontbonne College, is the instructor.

Movie "Treatment"
The first Chinese movie "Treatment" is producing at St. Louis and welcomed by the St. Louis Chinese community.  The chairperson Rita Chao (L4) and board members of the St. Louis Asian American Business Association visited the movie team and actor Liaun Cha-Hwa (L5).

The St. Louis Chinese American News and The Dallas Chinese News will publish the Chinese Weekly (Zhong Guo Ren Zhao Kan) simultaneously to promote the Chinese culture at both big cities for more than 200,000 Chinese in the Midwest and South United States.  Dallas Chinese News was established in 1981 and is the oldest Chinese newspaper at south Texas.  St. Louis Chinese American News built the sister relationship with Dallas Chinese News since 1990.
